WHAT WE OFFER
The electronics industry is central to the digital and green transition, yet it faces mounting challenges: rising e-waste, supply chain emissions, growing dependence on critical raw materials amid geopolitical uncertainty, and increasing regulatory pressure.
Demand for semiconductors and electronics, which underpin a wide range of high- and low-tech applications, continues to grow. To scale responsibly, the industry must embed sustainability directly into the way electronics are designed, manufactured, and recovered.
REACT’s ambition is to enable that shift
We work at the intersection of research and industry to develop practical solutions that improves process efficiency, material use, and recovery pathways. Our focus is not sustainability at any cost, but innovation that supports net-zero manufacturing while strengthening industrial resilience.
Explore Our Commercial Opportunities
We have prepared a series of commercial teasers showcasing the breadth of REACT’s research capabilities and industry-relevant offerings.

Get involved – join us in shaping REACT’s future
Your organisation can play a part in advancing sustainable electronics. We invite manufacturers, supply chain businesses, policymakers and public bodies to partner with us.
We recognise that agility of response is critical when developing novel technologies in a competitive environment. We therefore aim to provide facilities, expertise and outcomes aligned to your existing product development schedule.
We also understand the commercially sensitive nature of innovative technologies and applications and NDAs can be arranged where necessary to assure confidentiality.
Existing partners range from small start-ups and spin-outs looking to access latest generation equipment and expertise to support creation, consolidation or expansion, to larger organisations seeking to partner with a respected academic institution to exploit commercial opportunities.
By supporting REACT through collaboration, shared research initiatives, or investment, you will be contributing to the innovations that reduce e-waste, emissions, and dependence on scarce materials.
